ABOUT THE ARTIST
I retired in 1970 after 10 years in show business. I had the privilege of dancing at several hotels in Vegas including the Stardust as a Bluebell Girl and the Sands with Louis Prima. I enjoyed performing all over the U.S. & Canada, Puerto Rico, The Mikado in Japan and the Moulin Rouge in Paris. After that I taught ballet, tap & jazz for l5 years at a conservatory of the arts in Las Vegas, NV. I am a published writer & member of The National League of American Penwomen. In 1957 I was the spelling champion of North Eastern Ohio, (Oh boy, was it that long ago?). I was also one of 7 of the original Dallas Cowboy Cheeleaders in 1961. I have two children and two grandchildren.
I have been creating unusual art for 38 years. I also enjoy beading, crocheting etc.
I had a website before, but this is my first stab at creating my own. I would love it if you folks out there would share some creative criticism. My work is unusual and unconventional so that won't change, but I would welcome input on website design. | |
